Reliable, skilled handyman work in Colorado Springs
One local handyman for the long list of repairs, installs, and fixes around your home. Doors, decks, fencing, flooring, fixtures — done right, by one person you can count on, not three different specialists.

One call, many jobs
No need to chase down five different contractors. I handle the repairs and improvements most homes need — and I'll tell you straight if a job's outside what I do.
Doors & Windows
Door repair & install, sticking or damaged doors, and window rot repair that stops the problem at the source.
Decks & Fencing
New fence installs, fence and gate repair, deck boards, railings, and weatherproofing.
Masonry & Exterior
Brick and stone repair, gutter cleaning and repair, and keeping water where it belongs.
Painting & Drywall
Interior paint touch-ups, drywall patching, and making tired walls look fresh again.
Flooring
Flooring installs and repairs — laminate, vinyl plank, and squeaky-board fixes.
Repairs & Small Installs
Fixtures, ceiling fans, shelving, smoke detectors, plus minor plumbing & electrical.
Hi, I'm Adlee
Growing up on a farm with an engineer for a father taught me a lot: good work ethic, honesty, respect, and how to fix just about anything. I started The Mountain Handyman to bring that same care to homes here in Colorado Springs.
When I show up, you're getting one person who takes pride in the work and stands behind it — not a rotating crew. If something's outside what I do, I'll tell you and point you the right direction.

From eyesore to eye-catching
We all have that one thing in the house that's needed a fix forever. Let's knock it out.
Trusted by your neighbors
“I love working with Adlee! I work with a lot of contractors, and most of them are flakes. Adlee gave me a fair price, came on time, and took care of business. He checked in with me to make sure things went the way I wanted.”
“Adlee did an excellent job replacing our toilet. He arrived on time, was very professional, and explained everything clearly. His work was solid and his pricing was fair. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable handyman.”
“He did a great job installing a storm door for me. Quick response and fair price — would highly recommend.”
No-surprise pricing
Most folks have been burned by a quote that creeps — told $300, billed $700. I don't work that way.
The price I quote is the price you pay
Your quote breaks out labor and materials, so you see exactly what you're paying for — and that price is locked. If the work ever takes me longer than I planned, that's on me, not you. You pay what we agreed.
If the job changes, you'll know first
Sometimes I open something up and find a surprise — a cracked P-trap behind a garbage disposal, say. If the actual work changes, I stop, show you, and we agree on the new price before I go any further. No surprises on the final bill.
Insured
General liability coverage, so you're protected.
No-surprise pricing
The quote is the price. Period.

FAQs
How does getting a quote work?
For small jobs, text or email me a few photos and I'll get you a price quickly. For bigger projects I'll schedule a quick walk-through, take a look, and send a written quote — usually within a day or two for small jobs, up to about a week for larger ones.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Reaching out and getting a quote is always free.
How do you price your work?
I quote a flat price per job, not an hourly rate, with labor and materials spelled out so you know the full cost before any work starts.
Will the price change once you've started?
No surprises — the price I quote is the price you pay. If I underestimate how long a job takes, that's on me, not you. The only thing that changes the price is a change in the actual work — like opening something up and finding hidden damage — and even then I stop, show you, and get your okay before doing anything extra.
Do you take a deposit?
For most jobs, no. For projects with significant materials (roughly $100–150+) or larger jobs ($1,000+ total), I ask for a 50% or materials deposit up front so I can buy what's needed and reserve your spot.
What areas do you serve?
All of El Paso County at standard rates — Colorado Springs, Falcon, Peyton, Calhan, Monument, and Fountain. I'll travel a bit farther (Castle Rock, Woodland Park, Pueblo) for a small added trip charge.
What about plumbing and electrical?
I handle the minor stuff — faucets, shower heads, and garbage disposals on the plumbing side; light fixtures, ceiling fans, and outlet/switch swaps on the electrical side. Once a job goes behind the wall, that's a job for a licensed plumber or electrician, and I'll tell you so.
